's mail system is very important to the success of the company, sales pay depends on the rapid and reliable customer contact, the other departments are also very dependent on the mail system to complete the communication around.

Project Environment:

Lingyun High-Tech Co., Ltd. we have installed the Exchange mail system, the normal implementation of the company's internal and external mail communications, exchange greatly accelerated the internal and external flow of the enterprise, facilitating the various areas of the efficiency of various departments. But now there are new problems, boss accidentally deleted a very important commercial mail now need to get the general manager of the Lost Mail back. What do we need to prepare to achieve such a goal???

Project Standard:

Ability to complete backup and restore Exchange mail server.

To restore the business mails mistakenly deleted by the general manager.

Project implementation:

Before we configure, let's first understand that exchange's large amount of information is stored in Exchange's mailbox stores and public folder stores, as well as in the Active Directory database. Some configuration information is stored in the system registry, while others are stored in different locations in the Exchange installation path. Before that, let's take a look at the Exchange storage group, the system state, and most importantly for the Exchange server, the data should be the mail store and the public folder store, you can either restore a single storage using backup at one time, or you can restore all of your storage at once. When you back up Exchange Server, you need to back up not only the message information, but also the configuration information for Exchange, which maintains the overall operation of each mailbox and Exchange server. This information is distributed in the database of the Active Directory, so you need to back up Active Directory.
