By configuring static routes, you can achieve an increase in routing entries for routers in a relatively simple network.
However, if there are more than 20 routers in a network, it is difficult to configure static routes to accommodate the complexity of routing entries and changes in the network. At this point we can use the RIP protocol to configure simple dynamic routing, thus reducing the workload.
Configuration ideas
1 Configure the IP address of the router Xia Lian switch physical interface, turn on the interface
2 Configure the IP address of the switch Xia Lian PC and specify the IP address of the gateway for the router Xia Lian switch physical interface
3 Specify the interface address of the router to connect to other routers
4 Open RIP Protocol, and specify version, configure (announce) the network segment itself
Network topology
1 Configuring the Router Xia Lian interface address and connecting the addresses of other router interfaces
2 Configure switch Xia Lian PC address, specify gateway for router Xia Lian switch physical interface address
3 Open RIP Protocol, specify version and publish this network segment information
4 other routers Similarly, configuration related information
5 Viewing the routing table, you can see in the routing table that you have learned other network segment addresses
