Generally, there is a printscreensysrq key on our keyboard. in windows, we can press this key to take a screenshot. It captures the entire screen. in linux, I tried it, you can also try to capture the full screen. It is also a screenshot software provided by linux, gnome-screenshot. We can use man to view the specific usage of this command.
Here we can see some basic usage of this command.
Option
-W: capture the current activity window
-A: capture custom regions
-B contains the border of the window.
-B: remove the border.
-D N: Wait N seconds.
-E Additional effects (shadow, border, none)
-I Interactive Operation
Some Common commands:
Gnome-screeshot means that the default statement is to capture full screen without additional options.
Gnome-screenshot-wb captures the current active window (border required)
Gnome-screenshot-Capture a custom area (the image above is captured using this command)
Gnome-screenshot-wBe shadow-d 5Truncate the current window in 5 seconds to remove the border and add the shadow effect.
