What's 1.1 tails?

Tails is the abbreviation for foreign language "the amnesic Incognito Live System". As a Linux distribution, Tails derived from Debian (Debian is the most influential community distribution, not one of them). The purpose of the Tails is to help users to achieve anonymous Internet access, and to maximize the protection of personal privacy. To achieve this, Tails has built in a variety of hidden identities and privacy-preserving tools.

1.2 How do I get it?

To get Tails is easy, just visit its official website (https://tails.boum.org/) and you'll see a link to the download page at the top right of the page. After you open the download page, you can choose to download the ISO image directly, or you can download the BT seed and then use the BT ISO image.

1.3 How do I install it?

Tails can be played in several ways: one, in a virtual machine, and the other, on a USB flash drive (or SD card), and third, burned into a disc. For beginners, I suggest taking a virtual machine first to practiced hand. Because virtual machines are quick to get started. For example, the common virtual machine software (VMware Workstation and VirtualBox) has DHCP services turned on by default, and Tails supports DHCP by default, eliminating the configuration of network card parameters such as: IP address, Mask) in trouble.

1.3.1 Installing to a virtual machine

To use Tails in a virtual machine, first create a blank virtual system (guest OS), and the Memory website recommends allocating 1GB. Then set the ISO image you just downloaded in the CD-ROM settings of the Guest OS. Start the virtual system again, as explained below:

No1. Switch to Chinese after booting into the interface.

No2. Click "Yes", then click "Forward"

No3. Set root password, password is a one-time, used for this session.

No4. Click Login to enter the desktop, the system is OK.

1.3.2 Installing to a USB flash drive

A little explanation: the Tails itself supports live CDs and live USB. In other words, it is not necessary to install drip. So ultraiso the Tails image into a USB flash drive, this USB flash drive does not need to be installed, is directly running the use of the environment, and then boot BIOS settings or boot menu options from the USB flash drive can be directly into the system, is not super simple!

1.3.3 burning into a disc

Finally this kind of play, should not need to drool again? Do not know how to carve the students, go to Google on their own.
