Install from hard disk
1. Download four ISO installation images for FC4. (It is best to verify MD5.
If it is installed in the virtual machine, it will not be verified ). Put it in a FAT32 drive, and my drive is F :/
2. Four startup files are required. Loadlin.exe Trans. TBL vmlinuz initrd. img
Autoboot. bat. Remember to put them in the same FAT32 partition as the ISO file.
A) The. loadlin.exe file is in the attachment (which can be downloaded from the Internet) and copied to the independent FAT32 partition. My name is F:/loadlin.exe.
B). vmlinuz initrd. IMG Trans. TBL can be found in the isolinux folder of the first ISO in FC4.
To. Copy the folder to the independent FAT32 partition. (Trans. TBL is in the first ISO root directory of FC4.
You can also find .) Note: The original networkArticleIs to copy Trans. TBL separately and store it in this FAT32 partition.
C). You must edit autoboot. BAT in Notepad:
Loadlin vmlinuz initrd = initrd. IMG ramdisk_size = 9216.
Save the autoboot. BAT file and exit.
Start the DOS system with a floppy disk or USB flash disk, find and run autoboot. bat

Problem description:
If you use the Win98 disk to start dos, after running autoboot, it will restart, and then the CD will start dos again, and the loop will take effect.

Next, select "Install Media", and select "Install from hard disk. In the partition where the image file is selected, for example,/dev/hda6 is the edisk. The other is the same. What should I do if I cannot find the drive letter? Use the stupid method = to try. :)
Next we will start next -- partition -- start installation -- sleep -- end.
Done.
