If you do not have a system installation disk, you can use the following methods:
First, start the machine, press and hold the Apple and S keys on startup, and enter the system in single user mode. Input:
MOUNT-UV/Then enter.
You can then use any of the following:
1, if you know the short user name, enter: SH/ETC/RC return
Input: passwd Short user name
Enter the new password two times.
Input: Reboot Enter. Let the machine restart.
2, if you know the short user name, you can also enter: Cd/var/db/netinfo return.
Then enter:/usr/bin/nicl-raw local.nidb-create/users/short user name password enter.
This will set the user password blank.
Input: Reboot Enter. The machine will restart, after startup, enter a blank password.
3, boot, press cmd+s at startup, enter single User Mode, appear like DOS prompt #root>
Enter under #root> (note space, case)

The machine will restart, after the boot looks like a reload when the welcome interface, do not worry, everything is not lost. Just like the first installation, re-establish a new administrator account. Under the new administrator open the system pre-account, open the bottom of the lock, ask the password, with the new Administrator's account password. You will see at least two accounts, a new admin account and your original account, the original account number in the point, the password-change password. You do not have to have the original password to set up a new password directly. Click on the login option below (small house), check automatically login to the right, and select your original account in the dropdown menu. Reboot, you are done. If you don't like the machine more than one account, delete it. System pre-account, choose a new admin account, click the minus sign above the lock.
