2. Set the disk working mode in the BIOS of the motherboard.

The disk operation method also has a great impact on the speed of the backup/restore system.

Solution

The following measures can be taken to address the preceding issues:

1. The current hard disk capacity is relatively large. If the hard disk space is not very tight, we recommend that you select the low compression mode (fast mode), so that the Backup recovery speed will be faster.

2. Optimize the settings in the motherboard BIOS. When starting, press del (or F2, And the keys vary depending on the BIOS) to go to BIOS settings, and select integrated peripherals (the options for managing the integrated devices and ports on the motherboard ), select onchip ide device (IDE device, mainly including hard disk and optical drive). Next you can see: ide HDD block mode (IDE Hard Disk block mode). The value is disabled (disabled) and enabled (enable ).

Enabled allows the hard disk to transmit data in Fast Block Mode. After opening, you can speed up backup/restoration.
