Step three: The rectangle for the edit area should look like the figure below.

Fourth step: Enter text. Tenth step: Because there is no fill (fill) color, so the center of the text at the moment is blank effect, this is not what we need. or select the character object, open the Object panel, and select the middle "center of the path" fill with the stroke stroke, as shown in the figure.
