When you see the name vlite, you may think of NLite, which is essentially similar in functionality, unlike Windows Vista, which is for Windows XP. In addition to being able to vlite up to 2.5GB of Windows Vista installation discs, you can integrate drivers for hardware devices, optimize tuning, and create a bootable ISO image file.
However, vlite installation requires the support of the. NET Framework 2.0 or later, and if you do not have the component installed in Windows XP, you can download the installation from the address above.

1th Step: Copy Files
First in the hard disk to find a relatively large space for the partition, FAT32 or NTFS file system does not matter, the key is that the capacity is large enough. Create a new folder in this section, such as "Windows_vista_ultimate_chnsimp", and then take out the prepared Windows Vista installation CD and copy all of the files and folders in the original structure.
If you have a mirrored file for a Windows Vista installation CD, you do not need to burn it to a DVD and then replicate it, using the UltraISO or version 3.70 winrar to extract the mirrored file after the same processing (see Figure 1), This will save a lot of time.

Step 2nd: Specify the path to the installation file
Run Vlite, click the Browse button in the main interface, as shown in Figure 2, navigate to the "Windows_vista_ultimate_chnsimp" folder you just created, specify the location where the installation files are located, and note that you only need to select a top-level directory.
