Built-in warehouses:

• MAVEN Central: Agent maven centralized repository, policy release, downloads and caches only the release builds in the central repository.
• Releases: Host type warehouse, policy release, to deploy release build artifacts within your organization.
• Snapshots: Host type warehouse, policy snapshot, used to deploy snapshot version artifacts within the organization.
• 3rd party: Host type warehouse, policy release, to deploy third-parties release artifact versions that cannot be obtained from a public warehouse.
• Apache snapshots: Agent Apache Maven Warehouse, policy is snapshot.
• Codehaus Snapshots: Agent Codehaus maven Warehouse, policy is snapshot.
• Google code: Agent Google code maven warehouse, policy is release.
• Public repositories: A warehouse group that aggregates all of the above policy-release warehouses and provides services through a consistent address.
• Public Snapshot repositories: a warehouse group that aggregates all of the above policies for Snapshot and provides services through a consistent address.

Maven can download artifacts directly from the host repository, or it can download artifacts from the agent repository, and the agent repository will indirectly download and cache artifacts from the remote repository. For convenience, maven can download artifacts from a warehouse group, and the Warehouse group does not have the actual content, and it will go to the host repository or broker repository it contains to get the content of the actual artifacts.
