1, in Ubuntu terminal, according to the following format input command to calculate the MD5 checksum of the image file Ubuntu-xxx.iso.

md5sum Ubuntu-xxx.iso

2. Compare the computed MD5 checksum with the MD5 checksum provided by the Ubuntu website. If the two differ, the image file differs from the original file.

-Access to releases.ubuntu.com for Ubuntu releases during the maintenance period. There is a file named "Md5sums" in the directory for each distribution, which records the MD5 checksum of all the images for that release.

-Access old-releases.ubuntu.com for Ubuntu releases that are no longer maintained.
