MDaemon Plugin: Outlook connector server-side installation settings

VM Virtual Environment: Server 2003/32bit operating system, 384M memory, 8G hard drive.

Software Environment: MDaemon 12.0.3 (MD), Outlook Connector 2.2.8 (referred to OC)

Outlook Connector feature: OC is a plug-in product that requires a separate authorization from the Alt-n Technologies company. You can help you share your Microsoft Outlook Calendar, Contacts, tasks, and so on with your mdaemon users. Note: OC cannot be used with another sync plugin comagent.

First, the MD12.0.3 installation process is relatively simple, follow the prompts to operate. If you are unable to click the Next button when you install the MD12.0.3, or if you fill out the error, please note the following points.

1. Be sure to be able to connect to the Internet, because this program will send 30 of the trial code through the Internet to your mailbox.

2. Countries please choose People ' s Republic of China, because people are used to using China, hehe.

3. Please fill in the complete company information, including postcode, especially e-mail address, recommend the use of public network mailbox, because you need to receive 30 days trial registration code.

4. In the establishment of the first account, the password to use a strong password (uppercase and lowercase characters + numbers), otherwise the Next button is gray Oh.

Second, the installation of OC according to the instructions can be (note: OC and MD is not the same serial number, the need for separate authorization, but the serial number of OC is the same as MD, will be sent to the registered mailbox), OC required information, in the installation of MD has been completed.

After the installation is complete,---Register the ALT-N product---The Outlook Connector tab to see if it has been successfully installed. As shown in the following illustration:

To open the OC function to allow the use of OC accounts. MD Settings: Account---Account set---outlook Connector account, add the account required to use OC. As shown in the figure below, only 11 of this account is allowed to use OC functionality.
