Creative Goals
Binary Bakery Software production of this small program is mainly used to add a menubar to each window, convenient in the monitor or window a lot, it is not easy to find OS X original menu bar when users can easily choose the menu bar options. Customers want to highlight the theme of the software-menus, and to increase the user's visual mapping of the real-world use environment
Authoring process
In order to make the icon look a bit more impact, I chose a larger perspective angle, so in order to ensure that perspective accurate use of 3Ds Max first built a simple model.
When the styling OK starts redrawing in Photoshop, first the bottom plate.
Add a little metal texture to the plate.
And then according to the customer's idea, on the chassis to add the feeling of purple light, mainly for and the Mac system default desktop visual style to generate a map to the user menu can be directly on the desktop pop-up feeling.
Then there was the light that increased some of the color changes
The menu is obviously the main body of the software and the icon, so a little bit of the article on the cross section would like to add details.
Then, to make the menu look more like a purple glow, add some purple lighting effects and some text for the program's default menu.
Compared to 3Ds Max's model, the mouse position was changed to make him look larger and angle corrected
