Method of generating logical structure diagram of river
?
???? Sometimes in order to show the relationship between rivers, you need to generate a logical structure diagram of the river. This logical diagram is a bit like the logical structure of a wire network, to the need to show the basic structure and connectivity, without the need to show real spatial geographic location. For example, the subway line map, which is usually seen in the subway station, is a logical structure diagram.
???? Because the river data collection time itself is the real truth data, to become the structure diagram, needs to do some special processing. Within ArcGIS, you can use logical extensions (Schematics) to generate the prerequisites for building a collection network of rivers first. Here are the steps to generate a logical chart of a river:
- Construct a geometric network of rivers. Direct trial Featureclass Unable to complete the analysis process
- Import the stream data into the Featuredataset, right-click to create a "geometric network"
?
When finished, it will be loaded directly into the map document, as
Try the Arctoolbox tool to set the geometric network flow, as
In the direction of digitalization, click OK to finish
Right-click in the blank of the toolbar to open the Geometric network analysis tool, such as, in the Stream drop-down menu, select "Show Arrows"
?
If the stream flow is displayed normally, the geometric network setting is successful, as shown in
?
Save the Mxd document as RIVER.MXD, and the corresponding map document will be used later.
?
- Create logic
Right-click on the database file, create a new "logical DataSet", and re-kill.
?
Right click on the logical DataSet and select "Edit" to enter the editing interface.
Select the logical set and right-click to select "New Logical Template"
Enter a name and click OK to finish creating the template.
?
Right-click on the template and select "Import from Feature layer"
Select the previously saved MXD document and import the data, as
Click OK to finish adding
Click on the "Save" button to save all the settings and close the logical interface.
?
- use logical functions
?
using the standard tool, using the selection tool, select the corresponding river
After you deselect the features, you can see the specific logical results, as shown in
?
If you are not satisfied with the current default effect, you can choose a different logical effect. Use the logical Structure diagram editor to edit the settings, as shown in, first open the edit
Select the corresponding option in the drop-down box, as shown in
With the effect selected, click the Apply Layout Task button next to it to convert to the corresponding effect.
