In the actual work, sometimes need to be in the table row, the column data interchange, sometimes need to quickly convert the table data to specify the number of columns of the new table, or the table for a simple edit quickly get a new table, these are the data in the table in the aspect of conversion problem, how to achieve?

First, the realization of the table of data interchange

In the form of the row and column data transfer processing, can realize the table of data interchange. It is difficult to do a transpose in Word, but it is easier to implement data transpose in Excel. So, you can use Excel to realize the data interchange in the Word table. The specific steps are:

1th step: In Word editing environment, select the table you want to manipulate, perform a cut operation, paste the table data to the Clipboard.

2nd step: Start Excel, perform the paste operation, paste the data from the Clipboard into the current datasheet; Then, select all pasted data, perform the copy operation, and click a cell outside the data area with the mouse, perform the paste | transpose command, get the data after the transpose, and then select the data after the transpose, Perform a copy operation.

Step 3rd: Switch to Word editing, perform the paste Selective command, select unformatted Text from the pop-up dialog box, and click OK.

Step 4th: Select all newly pasted text, perform the Convert Text to Table command, click OK in the pop-up dialog box, or select "Adjust table by content" and click "OK" to complete the table column data interchange (see Figure 1).

Second, the realization of the table data in any vertical and horizontal arrangement

The data in a table can be rearranged and placed in a new table by the specified number of table columns to achieve arbitrary vertical and horizontal data in the table. For example, rearrange a 2x3 table data into a 4x2 table (see Figure 2), or rearrange it into a 6x1 table (see Figure 3).

Word text and table conversion commands, replace the command with the use of, you can achieve arbitrary vertical and horizontal data in the table. The specific steps are as follows:

Step 1th: Convert the table to text data

Select the table, perform the Convert form to Text command, and choose the text Separator as tab in the Convert Table to Text dialog box, and click OK. This way, the table lines in the original table disappear, and the column data is separated by a space.

Step 2nd: Separate all data with paragraph marks

The converted data is processed so that the data is separated by a paragraph mark to form a column of data. The specific action is: ① Select all space characters between two columns of data, performs a copy operation; ② selects all data, performs the Replace command, pastes the empty characters that you just copied in the Find What text box (the cursor is positioned inside the text box, executes the paste command, or presses CTRL + V); ③ in Replace with Enter a paragraph mark in the text box (that is, the cursor is positioned inside the text box, click Paragraph mark in a special format, or enter ^p directly), click Replace All button, ④ check all data, replace or delete extra blank lines, ensure that there is only one paragraph mark between the two data.

Step 3rd: Convert text data to a table

Select all the data, perform the Convert Text to Table command, and set the number of columns you want in the pop-up dialog box (for example: the number of columns is 2, the table is shown in Figure 2, the number of columns is 1, the table is shown in Figure 3, and when you click the OK button, you get the new table, which enables you to arrange the data in the table in any aspect.

In addition, the table can be used for different purposes by simply editing the new form. For example, add a row to the top of the table shown in Figure 3, add three columns to the right, and enter the row headings and headers to get an attendance table (see figure 4);

Add a column to the left and enter the unit name and header to get the Unit roster table (see Figure 5).
