Windows cannot install to this disk. The selected disk has an MBR partition table. On an EFI system, Windows can only be installed to GPT disks.
This occurs primarily because the USB flash drive is started by default with the EFI boot instead of the common MBR boot, so this behavior occurs. This is often the case in the original installation of 32-bit systems, and now a 64-bit system to change the process.
Workaround One:After the above problems, directly unplug the USB stick to other computers, the flash drive in the EFI folder and Bootmgr.efi file deleted, the problem is done, and then use this disk to boot disk to install the system, there will be no such problems.
The reason to delete these two folders and files is because the installation from the USB stick will be started by default with EFI boot, and when it is deleted, it is started with MBR by default.
In addition, I used to burn the CD-ROM win8, to a friend installation, but also the same problem, but the problem is that my disc is a read and write, can not be like a USB stick in the two folders deleted, so for the CD I do not know how to do. But, oddly enough, my own computer is also a USB flash drive installed Windows 8 Pro, but I do not see this problem, I personally think because my computer is older (bought at the end of 09), does not support the cause of EFI boot. What is EFI? Workaround Two:Non-preloaded WIN8 models factory, the hard disk default is MBR partitioned tabular format, and UEFI mode only supports the installation of the system on the GPT partition table hard disk.
If the system installation CD contains UEFI information, the boot may automatically load and enter UEFI mode, so the "Windows cannot install to this disk, the selected disk has an MBR partition table, on the EFI system, Windows can only install to the GFT disk" prompt.

The Power on press ESC, will display two CD-ROM or USB drive options, select the CD-ROM name before the option to boot without UEFI, you can normally install the system on the MBR partition table hard disk.
Workaround Three:Enter the motherboard selection start items, such as F8, F11, such as, U disk startup has 2 items, one is EFI boot, one is normal boot, install 64-bit system, choose EFI boot, will be wrong, should choose normal boot. If the CD is installed, enter the BIOS to see if EFI enters the BIOS to see the UEFI state, enabled if it is on, then disable it to see (change to Disabled), save the reboot, select the CD drive to boot. However, you cannot select the drive mode for UEFI.
workaround four:Use the WINDOWS8 partition tool to re-partition the installation. Or use the latest version of Diskgenius to build the GPT partition. Tip, please copy the hard drive data before using this method to avoid loss.
