I configured vss2005 Internet access yesterday (detailed configuration method, a lot of online, I will not go into details, you can click here), there are the following ideas:
1. To be honest, I'm disappointed. Although the original "directory sharing" method can be accessed through the firewall, there is no substantial improvement. Since Internet access is supported, why do I need to enter the directory sharing path and share the account when connecting to the VSS server? Is there no essential difference between this and the previous shared directory access? Configuration is more troublesome. If you access the service through the internet, you must use a 3rd-party plug-in, such as SOS.
2. The limitations are relatively large. Maybe I do not know much about it. I found that only vs2005 can be used for Internet access.
3. I do not know the Chinese version yet, but you can perform Chinese-based conversion on your own. Refer to the introduction on the Internet. The method is as follows:
1) Create "2052" and "Microsoft Visual sourcesafe 2005-CHN" under the Microsoft Visual sourcesafe directory, respectively, copy all the files in the "1033" directory to the "2052" directory, copy all files under the Microsoft Visual sourcesafe 2005-enu directory to the Microsoft Visual sourcesafe 2005-CHN directory.
2) Open the SSUI. dll file under "2052" directory with exclusive and modify the resources in it. As shown in
