Microsoft has introduced more details of cloud-based Office2013 features in its Office 2013 blog. Users can save the settings for Office 2013 in the cloud. Here's what this blog is about:
When you start Word, it tells the user the list of files that have recently visited the computer or any other connected device. Office 2013 can provide more templates for roaming across devices, and users can also fix their favorites on the interface.
After purchasing Office 2013, users can install copies of Windows or Macs within five years. Microsoft will also provide a new feature called Office on Demand. The blog points out that office on demand has a personalized Office application that eliminates the need to install permanent temporary copies, and that users do not have to worry about the files that are being used when they close the application.
In addition, Microsoft provides web-based Office 2013 application Access. Microsoft says new Web apps will allow network versions of Word,excel,powerpoint and OneNote. Blog posts also point out that application editing on the Web is very easy.
Word Web applications have a new page layout and a larger format feature. PowerPoint supports the creation of transitions and animations; Excel charts present a new interactive page that significantly improves Excel's data tables on the web; OneNote has better navigation and search.
The Office Web apps user interface has also been improved to improve performance.
