Drag and drop a theme on the guide map
When you view a slide, you can drag and drop the theme in either the Guide view or the walking view.
Select the theme and drag them to a new location on the guide, where a visual cue appears to show where the topic will be added.
1. To copy the theme, hold down CTRL while dragging and dropping;
2. If you create or move a floating theme, hold down SHIFT while you drag and drop;
3. When you move a callout, the callout attaches to its parent theme, and you use cut and paste to move the callout to another parent theme.
Tip: If you want the object to snap to the grid during the drag-and-drop process, enable snapping grid options, and when viewing themes, you can use the drag-and-drop feature to move and copy topics between the guides.
Reposition Main Theme
Typically, when you move a primary theme, MindManager automatically determines the best location, so the subject of the move may not be where you want it to be-especially on a map with just a few main themes.
Move the primary topic to a specific location by doing one of the following:
Drag a Theme handle
Hold down ALT while dragging the theme to a new location;
Use the right mouse button to drag the theme.
Tip: If you don't see any of the theme handles, use the show/Hide command to display the main theme handles.
After you drag the theme to a new location, the theme handle turns black, indicating that it is positioned freely. When you add a theme to a guide or edit a map, the theme stays positioned roughly, but it may be slightly skewed to avoid overwriting other topics.
