Misunderstandings of Integrated Wiring System Requirements
1. Use the four-port 86 panel with caution
Currently, the requirements for "using four ports and 86 panels for information export and six types of information modules" are often seen in the bidding documents of engineering projects. We all know that the base box for 86 panels is small. Four six types of modules are installed in such a small space, and four coarse 6 types of cables are mounted to the module, there is almost no guarantee that the installation standard requires bending radius of six types of cables. The reason why we don't feel any exception for this installation is that our applications on the actual horizontal link are still relatively low. Once the network needs to be upgraded to a higher speed, it is easy to cause unpredictable results, affecting normal use. The correct and safe method is to pre-embed two 86-side boxes and install two dual-port 86 panels at the location where four information points are required.
2. The level system should be one step as far as possible
In the bidding documents, we often see that "horizontal links for voice applications (including information modules, horizontal cables and distribution frames) use over five types of systems, the horizontal links used for data applications (including information modules, horizontal cables, and distribution frames) adopt six types of systems ", this so-called cost-saving method completely removes the openness, flexibility, and scalability of the cabling system. We all know that the horizontal cables in the horizontal link are from the wiring room on each floor to the information outlet. They are almost always in the ceiling cable trough first, and the pipes are passed in after entering the room. Once the cables are laid, it is difficult to take out replacement. In addition, currently, the cabling system is no longer only used for voice and data, but more for applications with higher rates and unknown future. If the horizontal link is set to the Application Limit, one port runs at a high speed and one port runs at a low speed, therefore, this cabling system will no longer have port interconnectivity, flexibility, port upgrade scalability, and the so-called openness. Therefore, no matter what applications are used for horizontal links, you should select the same and advanced cabling system. do not limit the horizontal links to the application scope, the Integrated Wiring System itself is an open system.
3. The main system must be able to save
Contrary to the requirements of the horizontal system, many users have one-step requirements for the main system. In the bidding documents, we often see that "the main voice system uses five categories and 25 pairs of large cables, the data trunk adopts single-mode optical fiber ......". First, for the voice backbone, it is mainly used to transmit Analog voice signals with a low speed. The UTP of the three types of big logarithm is enough. If the voice system is upgraded to a digital system, it will not use a large logarithm of the cable as the backbone, but fully utilize the Digital IP network system, so it will use the optical fiber as the backbone. For the data backbone, single-mode optical fiber is characterized by its high bandwidth and long distance transmission, it is mainly used as the data backbone between buildings of buildings, such as campus networks, airports, large communities, and comprehensive commercial buildings, multi-mode optical fiber is sufficient no longer to use single-mode optical fiber (active and passive Single-Mode Optical Fiber ports are more expensive than multi-mode optical fiber ports) Regardless of bandwidth and distance requirements ), you do not need to reserve single-mode optical fiber cables for backup. The main reason is that the trunk cables and optical cables are laid along the weak current shaft, which is very easy to replace and expand. Therefore, it is not necessary to select the trunk system in one step, as long as the current application is satisfied and there is a certain degree of redundancy, You can gradually expand and upgrade as needed in the future.
