Mobile phone users exceed the 0.6 billion mark

Surge in mobile communication network revenue

Statistics show that the telecom business revenue of several major operators totaled RMB 398.79 billion, an increase of 9.2% over the same period of the previous year, which is lower than the GDP growth of 1.2 age points during the same period. The fixed asset investment of China Telecom totaled RMB 113.64 billion, it increased by 9.9% over the same period of the previous year.

In addition, the development of various telecom services varies greatly. Among them, the mobile communication network business revenue was 213.66 billion yuan, an increase of 15.9% over the same period of the previous year, accounting for 53.6% of the telecom business revenue; fixed local telephone network business revenue was 87.95 billion yuan, down 6.4% from the same period of the previous year, the proportion of telecom business revenue is 22.1%; the long-distance telephone network business revenue is 59.2 billion yuan, down 1.3% from the same period of the previous year, accounting for 14.8% of telecom business revenue; the data communication network business revenue is 37.42 billion yuan, it increased by 40.4% over the same period of the previous year, accounting for 9.4% of the telecom business revenue.

In terms of users, mobile phone users soared in the first six months of this year, and fixed phone users continued to decrease.

According to the regional distribution, there are 0.461 billion telephone users in the eastern region, 0.286 billion telephone users in the central region, and 0.206 billion telephone users in the western region.

In the first half of this year, a total of 9.593 million internet broadband access users were added to basic telecom enterprises, with a net increase of June in 1.559 million and a total of 76.007 million, while Internet dial-up users were reduced by 3.449 million.
