Mobile wireless music search

Years ago, users can use their mobile phones to search for the desired music and customize it as a ring tone or give away a ring tone. We use ASR, TTS, and other core technologies for integration. My task is to develop the IVR process of the Upper-layer business.

I started deployment at the end of January. I also went there for many days to do network configuration and application deployment, which is relatively easy. We were the first manufacturer to call the communication order, that is, the first one that can use telephone access, taking the lead. At this critical moment, we relaxed and did not carefully read the business specifications, and were not fully prepared. Mobile changed their business specifications and added a number of new functions that were not previously determined, which we did not have. It will not be long before the system test time.

Over the next week, I realized the real hard work and the feeling of being led by others. With the increasing number of mobile specifications, we constantly respond to new business specification requirements. Soon after, we found that the system we made was quite unstable and unreliable. Many Errors and poor user experience. We are still adding features for our system when we block the network on the last day. This directly leads to an extremely unfavorable situation in subsequent system tests.

1. Insufficient preparation and insufficient attention to the project. The first is the lack of human resources, and the business quality of the personnel is not hard. Without carefully studying the customer's needs, we made things that the user did not need based on subjective speculation.

2. Be satisfied with your own system and do not seek any improvement. The Business specification is marked as an optional function, which is not implemented at the beginning. The system was only satisfied with the previously developed system, but did not respond to market requirements. This eventually led to a mess in the later stages of the project, and the system was unstable.

3. Lack of medium-term communication and lack of understanding about what users need. Obviously, other manufacturers are independent of the natural language search function, and we are indeed mixed with the normal and stable existing functions. Why are the actions of other vendors the same, but we are special?

4. Insufficient pertinence.

Today, I went to the mobile research institute and listened to my own system for acceptance testing. I was overwhelmed by the pressure in my mind: I liked the normal functions, and I was saddened by system errors. The test is not over yet. We hope the system will be able to perform well in the next few days.
