Version of Charles prior to v3.10 used a single SSL Root Certificate. You can still download the legacy certificate bundle here or the certificate itself here (for installing on mobile devices ). Note that these certificates won't work on Charles v3.10.
If You is running Charles v3.10 or later, please go to Charles and consult the SSL proxying submenu in the Help menu, for Instructions on installing your new Charles Root Certificate.

So if you're using charles3.10 or above (I'm using the Charles 4.0.1 Mac version here)
First click on the menu bar help----SSL proxying----Install Charles root certificate Enter the following interface:
Drag the certificate to the system and right-trust the certificate: This is what the official website describes:

In Charles Go-to-the-Help menu and choose "SSL proxying > Install Charles Root Certificate". Keychain Access would open, and prompt you about the certificate. Click the "Always Trust" button. You'll then be prompted-your Administrator password to update the system trust settings. Then, click on the menu bar help----SSL proxying----Install Charles root certificate on Mobile device or remote browser to enter the following interface:
Open Safari on iOS device Enter the red address: Chls.pro/ssl (Note that your device is already connected to Charles)
After installing the browser-evoked certificate installation, you can then grab the HTTPS packet normally.
