Tag: Mail server send and Receive message priority record role
MX Records (mail exchange Records) are used to indicate the host name (a record) of a mail server in a DNS zone, so create a record for the mail server before creating the MX record, most enterprises now use multiple mail servers to do high user settings, So you can configure multiple MX records within the same DNS domain, set different mail server priority values, the lower the value, the higher the priority.
I am now testing the environment is 2 Exchange2010 server, are standard role installation, domain name is test.com, exchange2010-01 corresponding IP is 192.168.80.6.exchange2010-02 corresponding IP is 192.168.80.7, now I want to send and receive mail through mail.test.com, but because I have 2 mail server, can actually set 2 MX records to Real Now a Network Load balancing effect.
1. First create an A record for the two Exchange Server host names mail.test.com

2. Create MX records for 2 A records, and set different priority values as needed

After the 3.MX recording is set up, we can confirm whether the mail.test.com resolves to 2 mail servers through the nslookup command.

As you can tell, mail.test.com can resolve to 2 servers.
