I wrote an article two months ago. Article: "My little turtle is about to change the shell." unexpectedly, there were so many friends who clicked (currently reading 614 million) and left a message. Most of my friends are the same as me, I love turtles, but I am not very professional with them. I have read more than 80 messages, which is of great help to me, especially with peace of mind. I have provided many very professional and valuable comments to the two Thai and blue friends, thank you!
I have been raising my turtle for more than two years, and my physical fitness is still strong. But since the first half of this year, my hind toes start to rot separately (my hind legs are worse). I tried to treat it with chlortetracycline eye ointment, but it seems that the effect is not obvious. I often let him bask in the sun, in the hot days, I also asked him to "exercise" (turn it over three times a day and let him stretch his neck and turn it over). I have been worried that the claws have not extended for so long. Today I have taken two photos of it, so it's so pitiful to let you know how to save it!
Please note that the last toe in the right rear of the turtle is gone.
This picture is clearer.
Save it!
