My diaosi giser growth story-Company A in my work

Company A is the first GIS company I graduated from graduate school. A company specialized in GIS emergency response can still be connected to projects. Company A's project framework GIS adopts flexviwer. Of course, flex technology has been gradually eliminated in the GIS industry in the past one or two years. If we get WebGIS, we certainly do not recommend using flexviwer, at the time of graduation, the flexviwer and ESRI official websites were continuously updated, but the frequency of version updates was very low. The flexviwer3.7 version will not be updated later, of course, it will be later. At the time of my graduation, I got WebGIS or Silverlight. At that time, actually, SL had entered the end date, and flex was actually not very well off, but there was no way. Company A's GIS development environment was flexviwer, so I have to learn the flexviwer framework from scratch.

I should be lucky to have come into this company. I was taken by a strong developer with rich flexviwer development experience. He was 6-7 years old and experienced giser, with his guidance and hard work, after 1-2 months, he was familiar with flexviwer and the GIS part of the company's project. He knew at least how to configure the map service, how to modify widgets, understand the interaction between widgets, and how to share data among widgets in different modules. Fortunately, I have previously had experience in development projects of ArcGIS for Silverlight. Silverlight and flex are similar. The page design is similar, and I also have my own basic knowledge of arcgisserver, the learning efficiency is acceptable, and a mentor is in charge.

But I still have to speak out about Company A. When I entered, the previous flexviwer version turned out to be flexviwer1.0. In the first version, I can imagine how conservative company A is, or I didn't find the giser developer. My mentor was actually in the same period as me. He went to Company A three months earlier than me, then he upgraded flexviwer of the project with me and switched to flexviwer3.5. Many things need to be changed, such as flashbuild, which was previously 3. X Series, now changed to 4. X Series. The flexviwer version is quite different, and some of the mechanisms have also changed. The new version of flexviwer has been moved from the widgets of the old flexviwer function to the widgets of the new version, let me learn and exercise slowly. I should thank the platform provided by Company A. Although the flexviwer technology has almost been eliminated, I have learned how to develop my thinking, arcGIS API development is similar.

During the one-year period in company A, I made all of my work on the GIS implementation Part Of The flexviwer framework. Besides being familiar with flexviwer, I learned some new knowledge that I had never done in school, for example, how to install ArcSDE, how to import layer data, and how to publish element services to edit layers online, and how to publish map tiles and how to cut tiles, these are mastered under the guidance of the mentor, and I am lucky.
