Everyone knows this, but they have to stick to it for their own bid. The students are not enough for us to train and take up their precious junior years, we can't live up to their expectations and let them go.

to be honest, I have not learned much about training, just learned how to use the powerful tool MATLAB . Mathematical Modeling requires three people, and I should focus on computer computing. The real modeling is not for me, this is why students say they want to find a good math partner. I finally formed a team through various channels. I felt that this team was good, and I also compared it with the other two. The hope we had at that time was a kind of determination that we were not afraid of tigers. Unfortunately, setbacks soon came to us.

Beijing Institute of Technology held the first math modeling competition. In fact, this is only an out-of-the-box competition. Only the top teams in this competition, to participate in the national college students' mathematical modeling competition. 06 senior students have long told us that they may have the opportunity to participate in the national competition if they have done all the trials. This time, except for the name of the first session, the others are the same as in previous years. For four selections, we need to build four models and complete four papers. There were more than one hundred participating teams. It seems that the school was well publicized, and almost all of the mathematics and physics departments participated. In the first round of the competition, our scores were very poor. The problem was that the model was created. Whether the model was created or not completely determined the final result. I have discussed the score several times. I think it is the first time I have no experience, so I should do better next time. However, the second and third times did not achieve good results, and I became the penultimate team in the mathematics modeling Association. After learning my score, the president of the association, Dahai students asked me to split the team and find someone to team up again. But I couldn't do it, and my heart was really tangled. On that day, Chen and I walked around and again on the playground. Despite the light rain, my heart burned. We analyzed the gains and losses, finally, the team disband was not accepted.

After the four models were completed, we were not listed, which meant we were not eligible to participate in the national competition. I cannot accept this fact, which is far from the original idea. Fortunately, the school has something to do with it. We can participate in the national competition at our own expense. When Chen and I took a bus to Beijing Normal University to pay the registration fee, there was no hope in our hearts, what can I do even if I participate? The results may disappoint me again. The entire group is completely at a low point, and no light is visible at all.

Thanks to Chen, we may not have made any progress without his summer study. The summer school organizes our training sessions. I closed my mouth about this matter until I learned that we won the second prize in Beijing two months later. Postscript: I don't want to write this memory with any feelings, I just want to write it with plain narration. The taste can be completely complete only after personal experience. I'm not sure whether I have failed or not. Although the final result is far from the original ideal, let's leave it to history. From the preparation to the end of the mathematical modeling process almost a whole year, many details have been omitted by me. I don't know why I don't want to say it. I'm afraid I'm afraid to hook up my sad memories. However, I am not planning to participate again. If I go back two years ago, I will mostly choose to quit. I do not know what I think in my heart.
