My own thoughts on GIS

This is just my own understanding. I can only talk about GIS and love and hate from my own perspective.

I now have a master's degree in one of the most GIS-related schools in Wuhan. I have liked geography since I was in high school. I chose Earth information technology as a major in the university, most of the courses I have studied in the four years of my undergraduate course are related to remote sensing and geology. I feel that I should continue to learn geography with my passion. I was thinking about applying for the natural geography of Peking University, later, I thought carefully about my post-graduation work and thought that I was unable to study the theory. Combined with today's rapid development of information science and technology, I thought that geography is now the subject of geographic information systems. In 2013 and 2014, the Geographic Information Industry was very lively in the National spring breeze, and various concepts emerged. The enthusiasm of enterprises was also high, which made us very excited and felt that the future was a great storm, it is a great opportunity to promote industry progress.

During this time, I began to learn and observe, Read industry news and Weibo, and listen to the teacher's courses. Geographic information is becoming more and more ubiquitous and hard to understand. When it comes to this, many related words will pop up in our minds, such as big data, smart city, Iot, ArcGIS, and AMAP navigation ...... it's a bit messy and complicated, so I 'd like to hear your guide here, so it's a clear guide for me. I remember that in my course last week, I started to talk about the storage and Expression of spatial and temporal data, and the application of geographic information analysis techniques in the economic and social fields, this is clearly the knowledge of geography. We are justified in solving these problems. Geographic Information Systems/science are the development of geography today and the Development of geography towards the masses and applications, geography-based infrastructure (natural geography-research environment, water system watershed, etc. Human Geography: Studies population distribution, economy, and society .) We can naturally apply these aspects. What we have now is conceptual spatial analysis, time organization, and other computer-based technologies, is it expressed in another way? This should not be the case. I have read that many blog authors have entered the geographic information line from the computer industry. Of course, this should be encouraged, however, we also need to reflect on why we cannot find a direction to learn geographical information.

I may not know much about it, but I still need to learn many things.

Now, we don't know how to develop, what to do, and how to make a global influential topic. It's very easy. Finding a geography textbook is all what we need to do.
