1, independent installation

Why not choose "Install Ubuntu" because the second option does not start the Gnome Panel, it is not easy to implement some features (such as network connectivity, advanced partitions, etc.), so choose the first one. If Windows is just a play system rather than a working system, or just want to use an Ubuntu system, it is recommended to divide/classify the primary partition by 5GB, then create a larger (free space-physical memory-/partition) EXT3 Logical disk as a/home, Together with swap to form an extended partition. 2, Wubi Installation

Because stand-alone installations require the modification of risk operations such as partitioning, Ubuntu developers have developed a way to install Ubuntu as an application in windows so that more people can try Ubuntu. Extract the Wubi.exe from ISO (then put both in the root of the same partition) or run Wubi.exe after loading the ISO file with a virtual CD drive, select Ubuntu installation partition, installation size (recommended 8GB, here because swap is automatically generated size, Usually not more than 1GB, so the total size of the choice of 8GB can be set good username password after the start of the automatic installation, completely do not need to interact with people.
