1. Edit the text
Use MyEclipse's text editor to edit plain text files, configuration files, and programming language source code. When a text file is opened in MyEclipse, the default opening method is a text editor. This can also be opened by right-clicking and selecting Open with > Text Editor.
The MyEclipse Text Editor provides the following basic text editing features:
- Search and replace
- Copy, cut, and paste

- Undo and Redo

To access the Parameters page, right-click the editor and select the text Editor parameter from the menu. Alternatively, you can select Window>preferences from the main menu, expand General > Editor and select a text editor to find them.

How can I change the default encoding of a text file to UTF-8? Select the windows> parameter from the menu, expand General > Content, and select text in the Content Type panel. Associate the *.txt file and change the default encoding to UTF-8.
