The Navicat MAC Virtual Group is designed to provide a platform for logically grouping objects by category so that all objects are effectively protected. It is important to note that the Navicat virtual group is limited to the full version.
Virtual groups can be applied to connections, tables, views, functions, backups, schedules, and models.
On the connection tree or object list, control-click, and from the pop-up menu, select Manage Groups, new group, create a new group.
To move an object to a group, control-click the object and select Manage groups from the pop-up menu, add to group, or drag and drop objects into groups.
To move an object back to the top, control-click the object and select Manage groups from the pop-up menu, remove from the group, or drag and drop objects to the destination layer in the connection tree.
From the main menu, select View, hide connection groups, or hide groups of objects to hide the group of connections or objects.
Connection Color
Navicat MAC provides color highlighting connections to identify connections and their database objects. The highlighted colors appear in the connection tree and next to the database object name on the tab bar.
To highlight a connection, Control-click the connection and choose color from the pop-up menu.
