I. NLB test environmentSet up an NLB experiment environment as shown in 1. The computer Server is a domain controller and DNS Server, the client and client2 are member servers, and the domain name is ittongluren.com. The IP address of all computer gateways is 192.168.0.1, and the preferred IP address of the DNS server is 192.168.0.2. 2nd NICs are installed on the computer server and client for connection between nodes. The IP address of the network load balancing (NLB) is 192.168.0.3. Ii. Preparations before the NLB Experiment· Create a Web site on the computer Server (192.168.0.2) and access the website on client client2 (192.168.0.5), as shown in figure 2. Create a Web website on the client (192.168.0.4) and access the website on client client2 (192.168.0.5). As shown in figure 3, log on to the DNS server, on the "DNS" console, create A host (A) record with the host name www. The corresponding IP address is 192.168.0.3 and 4. · Change the name of the network connection on the server and client of the computer for identification, as shown in Figure 5. The network connection used for client access is named "Public Address ", the network connection used for communication between nodes is named "private address ". · Enter the command "ipconfig/all" on the computer server to view the computer's IP address. 6 shows that the "Public Address" IP address is 192.168.0.2 and the "private address" IP address is 192.168.1.2. run the "ipconfig/all" command on the client to view the IP address of the computer. As shown in 7, the "Public Address" IP address is 192.168.0.4, and the "private address" IP address is 192.168.1.4. · open the "Public Address properties" dialog box on the server and client respectively, as shown in figure 8. The current "network load balancing" is not checked. 3. Create a network load balancing cluster and add the first node· On the computer Server, click Start> program> Administrative Tools> network load balancing manager to open the network load balancing Manager Console, as shown in figure 9. On the console, right-click "network load balancing cluster" and choose "New cluster" from the context menu, as shown in figure 10, to create a cluster. · In the displayed "Cluster Parameters" dialog box, specify the relevant cluster parameters, such as the cluster IP address and cluster name. In the "ip address" field, enter the cluster IP address 192.168.0.3, enter the cluster name www.ittongluren.com in the complete internet Name, set the cluster operation mode to "Multicast", as shown in 11. · Click the "Next" button and the "cluster IP Address" dialog box shown in 12 appears. In this dialog box, you can specify an additional cluster IP address, that is, to set Multiple Cluster IP addresses, which do not need to be set here. · Click "Next". The "port rules" dialog box shown in "13" appears. A port rule exists by default. The port rule can allocate client communication according to the load of each member in the group. Select the port rule and click "delete" to delete the rule, as shown in figure 14. The purpose of deleting this port rule is to verify that the two hosts in the cluster respond to customer requests by priority. If a host with a higher priority fails, the host with a lower priority will provide services. · Click "Next" and the "connection" dialog box appears. In this dialog box, specify the IP address of the host that is connected to the cluster, enter 192.168.1.2 in the "host" text box, and click "Connect, select "Public Address" for available interfaces, as shown in Figure 15. · Click "Next". The "host Parameters" dialog box shown in 16 is displayed. In this dialog box, you can specify the host priority, which is set to 1. · click the "finish" button and return to the "Network Load Balancing manager" console. Click "network load balancing cluster" to check that the cluster IP address is 192.168.0.3, as shown in figure 17, click the Cluster www.ittongluren.com (192.168.0.3) to check that there are currently only one node in the cluster. the IP address of the node is 192.168.0.2 and the status is "aggregated ", 18. · Open the command prompt interface and enter the command "ipconfig/all" to view the IP address information, as shown in 19. The cluster IP address is 192.168.0.3. 4. connect to the network load balancing cluster and add 2nd nodes· Log on to the client (192.168.0.4) on the computer, open the "Network Load Balancing manager" console, right-click "network load balancing cluster", and select "connect to existing" in the pop-up menu ", 20. connect to an existing cluster. · The "connection" dialog box is displayed. In the "host" text box, enter the IP address "192.168.1.2" of the cluster host and click "Connect, www.ittongluren.com appears in the cluster. Select the cluster, as shown in Figure 21, and click "finish" to connect to the cluster. · After connecting to the cluster, return to the "Network Load Balancing manager" console, right-click the server, select "add host to cluster" in the pop-up menu, as shown in 22, and add a second host in the cluster. · In the "connection" dialog box, enter 192.168.1.4 in the "host" text box, click "Connect", and select "Public Address" for "available cluster configuration interfaces", as shown in Figure 23. · Click the "Next" button. In the displayed "interface" dialog box, the priority is 2, 24. Click OK to add it to the cluster. · After adding the second host to the cluster, the "Network Load manager" shown in 25 is returned. You can see that there are two hosts in the cluster. · Open the command prompt interface and enter the command "ipconfig/all" to view the IP address information, as shown in Figure 26. The cluster IP address is 192.168.0.3. V. network load balancing Verification· Log on to the computer server and open the attribute dialog box of the public address Nic on the "Network Neighbor" interface. You can see that the "Network Load Balancing" option is selected, as shown in 27, network load balancing is enabled. · Double-click "network load balancing" to open the "Network Load Balancing properties" dialog box shown in 28. In this dialog box, the IP address of network load balancing is 192.168.0.3. · double-click the "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" option in the dialog box to open the "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) attributes" dialog box. In the dialog box, click the "High Level" button, open the "Advanced TCP/IP Settings" dialog box shown in 29, and select the "ipsettings" tab. You can see that there are two IP addresses in the "IP address" area. · Open Internet Explorer on 192.168.0.5 and enter www.ittongluren.com In the address text box to access the Web site on the Server, disable the "Public Address" Nic on the Server computer, and then enter www.ittongluren.com to access the web site on the client computer.
