Step 1: organize leadership

This leading group should be led by a senior leader of the organization to gather talents from all walks of life and jointly design every step of network construction, so as to be well aware and be complex.

(1) Conduct a feasibility study, plan the layout of the campus network, propose technical requirements, and establish a project for the campus network project.
(2) raise funds. First, the amount of funds required for the construction scheme budget of each unit should be calculated, and then the amount of funds required for each stage of the project should be separately budgeted.
(3) determine the applications to be carried out after the campus network is built and how to combine them with the current work.
(4) contact, consult, and seek help from network integration companies.
(5) organization of specific project implementation and coordination of various stages and time.
(6) establish the operating, management, service, and other systems after the network is built.

Step 2: Raise funds
The fund required for the construction of the campus network includes not only network equipment, network software, network integrated wiring system engineering, site construction, but also network administrator training. The cost required for building a campus network is related to the structure, scale, and advanced level of the campus network. Step 3: bidding
Before bidding, we should first conduct a feasibility study to clarify the scale, layout, and application requirements of the campus network. Step 4: bidding
Each integrated company will write the campus network and information system solution proposal based on the bidding technical documents of each network-building unit, the overall design concept, the backbone network construction scheme, the network control center and the network Integrated Wiring System, the features of the scheme and the features of the selected equipment are discussed respectively, and the system quotation is given.

Step 5: Evaluation

Step 7: Wiring
The network cabling system project is an important part of campus network construction. The performance of the network cabling system directly affects the overall performance and future development of the network system.

The network cabling system should be designed in accordance with the principle of "overall planning, distribution implementation, horizontal wiring, and one-step deployment. The trunk lines of the integrated network cabling system are mostly set in the weak current well of the building. It is easy to replace and expand, while horizontal wiring is in the ceiling of the building or in the PVC trough, if you want to increase the number of information points or change the horizontal wiring, the building structure will be damaged, affecting the overall appearance. Actual engineering experience shows that the cost of new information points is three times higher than the cost of new information points. Therefore, the design of the integrated network cabling system must have a deep understanding of the quantity and quality requirements of users in the present and future.

The optical fiber cables between Campus Network buildings should be laid at a time as much as possible to avoid channel re-excavation. The optical fiber cables should have a certain margin and backup in length and number of cores for building demolition, line faults and broadband resizing.

The deployed twisted pair wires should also be tested one by one to check whether they comply with Engineering Standards and issue a test report.

Step 8: Site Preparation
The site preparation is mainly divided into four aspects:
(1) Principle of site selection between buildings and equipment: the farthest layout should not exceed 120 meters; the layout should be far away from the stacked places of dangerous articles; the dangerous areas of fire and water should be avoided; and the interference of strong electromagnetic fields should be avoided.
(2) IDC structure: a certain amount of space should be provided to facilitate the heat dissipation and personnel activities of machines. It is necessary to prevent the renovation of the IDC with contaminated materials; and the IDC should have security measures.
(3) IDC environment: certain requirements are imposed on the temperature and humidity of the IDC room. The air in the IDC room should be clean and there should be requirements on electromagnetic interference and illumination, for specific technical indicators, refer to relevant national standards.
(4) Power Supply: leased line power supply should be adopted; power supply should be clean, non-stop power supply should be configured, and three-phase power supply should be balanced; residual voltage of the center line should be small, and good safety should be ensured ); leave room for power supply capacity.

Step 9: Install and debug
After the network cabling system project and site preparation check and acceptance are completed, the ordered equipment will arrive as planned. After the goods are inspected, installation and debugging are required. The specific steps are as follows:
(1) disbox computers and network devices and connect the twisted pair wires and optical fiber cables on the physical link ).
(2) Configure software for routers, switches, and servers.
(3) install the operating system and network management software.
(4) test. Test the network devices one by one, including network connection and switch management. Then, test the connection between multiple network devices to test the network connection and management functions of the router. Conduct network tests on a single server, test connections between different network servers, and test access to servers by users of different operating systems.
(5) Submit the system test report and preliminary acceptance report. If the acceptance is successful, the installation and debugging will come to an end.

Step 10: Acceptance
When the system trial run for one month after the installation and commissioning of the newly created campus network, the running status, availability, and reliability of the network should be tested and evaluated. Submit the system test run test report and final acceptance report. Both parties sign the formal acceptance report, and the network is officially put into operation.
