Recently, MSN Live Messenger can be connected to Yahoo Messenger News, which seems to occupy a lot of information pages. Does Google Talk have a way to connect to MSN, Yahoo or ICQ?
I checked the network and found a method. Some people wrote down the method. For English, please refer to connect Google Talk to aim, MSN, & Yahoo. for Chinese, please refer to integrate MSN with Gmail Chat, yahoo !, Aim, jabber
Google Talk uses the jabber communication protocol at the underlying layer, while the Jabber server has a transport (adapter ?), Different real-time communication software contacts can be integrated, but you still need to have an independent account for each real-time communication, which is not the same as that of MSN and Yahoo.
Because the Jabber server directly connects to the server where transport is located and then logs on to the required service, you can simply install the Jabber Client (such as Google Talk, Miranda, GAIM ).
If your company cannot directly connect to MSN, Yahoo, or ICQ, because Google provides Gmail Chat, which relies only on web pages and can communicate in real time, you can log on to gmail.com + MSN tranport to talk to contacts on MSN.
However, for example, MSN and ICQ have restrictions on multiple logins with the same ID. Therefore, if you want to use this function on jabber in the future, MSN or ICQ cannot be used at the same time, otherwise, you will always receive a disconnected message. The advantages and disadvantages of this message depend on the choice of each player.
Note: I tried using Miranda IM these days and found that it is not necessary to rely on the PSI in the article to add the transport server function, you can also use the jabber or jgmail (jabber plus Gmail mail check program) attached to Miranda IM. This function is also built on the proxy... however, when using Miranda IM, you can log on to MSN and ICQ directly, so it is only a chicken fault, unless your company can only connect Google Talk to MSN, ICQ, Yahoo Messenger
