New Vista patch solves N-card compatibility issues

Among the 10 patches updated by VISTA today, the number kb940105 is not noticeable. It indicates that it only solves the graphics virtual address problem that may occur when running Windows Vista. However, NVIDIA recommends that gamers of all geforce 6, 7, and 8 series graphics cards install the patch.

According to NVIDIA's official statement, the kb940105 patch can solve exceptions that occur when n cards run DX9 or dx10 games under Vista, including games.ProgramCrash, high image setting, low frame rate, etc. Most of these problems occur on high-end graphics cards and have occurred in the following games: battlefield 2, battlefield 2142, Civilization 4, heroes, half life 2, and Lord of the Rings: battle of China 2, the highest commander, and rainbow 6 Las Vegas.
