Notebook Win7 system partition error failed to create disk partition reason and workaround

It can be divided into four primary partitions or 3 primary partitions + one extended partition (multiple logical partitions can be created in the extended partition), that is, 3 primary partitions + one extended partition.

1, if the Win7 system has 100MB boot partition + system partition + hidden partition, the three partitions belong to the main partition, it is necessary to all the remaining space to be zoned to the extended partition in order to smooth partition;

2, the Win7 system by default division of the primary partition, to the fourth partition, the system will automatically delimit the fourth partition to the extended partition, do not need to specify the partition type;

3, in the installation system process partitions can only be divided into up to 4 partitions, that is, the primary partition, extended partitions can only be created under the system;

4, if appear in the following figure, the resolution of the detailed steps are: first delete D disk, and then right to delete the extended partition (green part), after deletion will be merged with the previous unpartitioned space, and then create a simple volume, the system automatically divides the extended partition and logical partition, the partition can be set size, the remaining space can continue to divide.
