nx9/nx10 How to open solid Edge ST8

Both solid Edge and NX are Siemens PLM products that use the same parasolid core, so solid edge and NX maintain the association between data.

First open the model file on solid Edge ST8:

and then use the solid Edge command directly:

to automatically import the solid Edge model into NX and maintain the association between the data. That is, the solid edge model has undergone design changes, and the model in NX is automatically updated with it.

But there is also a problem with version matching between them.

solid Edge ST8 was released in June 2015, NX10 was released in April 2015, NX9 was released in October 2014, earlier than Solid Edge ST8, Therefore nx10/nx9 cannot open the model data of solid Edge ST8.

Siemens PLM GTAC website provides the simplest way to modify: Replace the PlmxmlAdapterSE70.dll file.

Download the PlmxmlAdapterSE70.dll file from GTAC official website and replace the file with the same name Nx9/nx 10 installation folder ugii below.
