In September 1999, Brett Tabke wrote a article titled "15000 a day in step 26" at the Webmaster World Forum. Now there are many differences. We should consider a new "26-step plan" for the 2006 Masters. Some old skills are still applicable (for example, writing new content every day), but some are no longer applicable (submitting to a search engine is no longer a necessary step ), we will tell you what to do and what not to do this time. You may have learned that it is not so easy to bring traffic-hard work, hard work, and hard work. So, if you are ready, roll up your sleeves and follow the 26 simple steps. Within a year, you will get enough traffic to keep you busy.
A) keyword research
Before doing anything, use the keyword tool to conduct a wide investigation to see which keywords/words are suitable for your site. What keywords does your direct competitor use? Are there some marketing-potential keywords you haven't found? Maybe you can develop another new situation from here?
B) domain name
If you want your company name to be branded, select a domain name that accurately reflects it. If your company is Kawunga, register www.kawunga.com. If you are unfortunately registered, use www.kawungawidgets.com. Do not use hyphens (-). Try not to use a combination of more than two words.
C) avoid sandbox testing
Buy your domain name as soon as possible after you confirm the keywords and company name. Set up the website as soon as possible, put a simple page to tell others who you are, what you do, and the detailed content of the website will immediately come out of the cloud. Make sure that it is accessed by Google and Yahoo! Captured. (You can submit or connect to the site from another site)
Create 30 authentic original pages for your site. This will give the spider something desirable, and give you the opportunity to learn more keywords from the search engine results.
E) site design
Adhere to the "keep simple" principle. Call an external CSS file, clear the Java Script code on the page, use an external file to call them, do not use the framework, use Flash in the form of images, do not make the whole site Flash. Do not make the site appear messy. Keep it clean and simple. Allows viewers to easily find what they need without looking around.
F) page size
The smaller the size of your page, the better-especially the homepage. Optimize those images to make the page load faster. Most people and enterprises in the West have fast network speeds, but in other countries or using mobile phones may not. If your site load is slow, it may have lost its visitors before it is accessed.
G) availability
Make sure that your site complies with some availability rules. Remember, people spend more time on other sites, so do not challenge design habits. Do not use PDF files for online reading. Use different colors for the Accessed connections, and use the size Title properly. Learn more about availability and they will benefit you a lot.
