When you use Excel 2007 to input data, you often need to enter a series of data with the same characteristics, such as Monday to Sunday, One groups in a certain order number of product names. If you use the same data frequently, you can add it to the list of fill sequences for later use.
The 1th way is: Manually add a new automatic fill sequence, the following steps.
1. Click the Office Button, and then click the Excel Options button to open the Excel Options dialog box.
2. Click the General tab on the left, and then click the Edit Custom list button on the right. The Custom Series dialog box opens.
3. Under input sequence, enter the automatic fill sequence that you want to create.
4. Click the Add button, and the new custom fill sequence appears at the bottom of the list of custom lists on the left.
5. Click the OK button to close the dialog box.
The 2nd way to do this is to import a custom automatic fill sequence from the current worksheet, as described in the following steps.
1. Enter the automatic fill sequence on the worksheet, or open a worksheet that contains the automatic fill sequence, and select the sequence.
2. Click the Office Button, and then click the Excel Options button to open the Excel Options dialog box.
3. Click the General tab on the left, and then click the Edit Custom list button on the right to open the Custom Series dialog box. The selected sequence appears in the box to the right of the import sequence from cell.
4. Click the Import button, and the sequence appears at the bottom of the list of custom lists on the left.
