Office365-Exchange Management 5-Calendar

Source: Internet
Author: User

To say that exchange has the biggest advantage over other email systems, I think it is a huge and convenient calendar system for exchange. The calendar system of exchange can be used for shared display and distribution of personal itinerary, conference room usage, and even scheduling of any company resources.

1. First, let's take a look at how to use the calendar in OWA.

In o365, the calendar is independent to the navigation bar, so that users can use it more quickly, which reflects the importance of the Calendar function.

650) This. width = 650; "Height =" 44 "Title =" clip_image001 "style =" margin: 0px; Border: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-Right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; Background-image: none; "alt =" clip_image001 "src =" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201408/13/762134_1407914339YAfv.png "border =" 0 "/>

Here we will use the user1 and user2 users to demonstrate the instructions.

First, log on to user1, click to enter the calendar, select a date in the calendar, and click to enter the reservation content directly.

650) This. width = 650; "Height =" 422 "Title =" clip_image003 "style =" margin: 0px; Border: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-Right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; Background-image: none; "alt =" clip_image003 "src =" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201408/13/762134_14079143409sHR.jpg "border =" 0 "/>

If you double-click or right-click to create a file, you can go to the detailed editing page. You can also reserve meeting rooms and company resources, or schedule recurring events.

650) This. width = 650; "Height =" 363 "Title =" clip_image005 "style =" margin: 0px; Border: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-Right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; Background-image: none; "alt =" clip_image005 "src =" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201408/13/762134_1407914342PvQ7.jpg "border =" 0 "/>

So how can other people view the calendar that user1 has booked?

Log on to user2 now. After logging on, right-click the calendar option and choose "open calendar". Here, select "Open user1 Calendar.

650) This. width = 650; "Height =" 276 "Title =" clip_image006 "style =" margin: 0px; Border: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-Right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; Background-image: none; "alt =" clip_image006 "src =" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201408/13/762134_1407914343PADd.png "border =" 0 "/>

When it is enabled, it is found that the calendars of user1 and user2 overlap in the same calendar table and are distinguished by different colors.

At this time, we found that user2 only displays "Exit" and does not display details of user1.

650) This. width = 650; "Height =" 213 "Title =" clip_image008 "style =" margin: 0px; Border: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-Right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; Background-image: none; "alt =" clip_image008 "src =" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201408/13/762134_1407914349Lg1i.jpg "border =" 0 "/>

Now, user1 is returned. Right-click the calendar icon to open the shared calendar.

Select user2 as the shared object, select complete details for the shared permission, and click send.

In this way, you can grant the calendar read permission of user1 to user2. Of course, you can also adjust different permissions according to different needs, such as editors and agents.

650) This. width = 650; "Height =" 202 "Title =" clip_image010 "style =" margin: 0px; Border: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-Right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; Background-image: none; "alt =" clip_image010 "src =" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201408/13/762134_1407914351j56T.jpg "border =" 0 "/>

Now we can see the detailed reservation of user1.

650) This. width = 650; "Height =" 259 "Title =" clip_image012 "style =" margin: 0px; Border: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-Right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; Background-image: none; "alt =" clip_image012 "src =" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201408/13/762134_1407914352fcBQ.jpg "border =" 0 "/>

2. Now we go to outlook

In calendar, click calendar permission.

650) This. width = 650; "Height =" 271 "Title =" clip_image014 "style =" margin: 0px; Border: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-Right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; Background-image: none; "alt =" clip_image014 "src =" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201408/13/762134_1407914355X4Hp.jpg "border =" 0 "/>

In the calendar permission attribute, you can view the permissions assigned by your calendar.

Here we found that after the previous operation, we have granted user2 the read details and the visible folder, but actually granted user2 the "proofreader" permission.

Of course, we can also assign permissions here. Obviously, outlook has more functions than OWA.

650) This. width = 650; "Height =" 597 "Title =" clip_image015 "style =" margin: 0px; Border: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-Right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; Background-image: none; "alt =" clip_image015 "src =" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201408/13/762134_1407914359le3s.png "border =" 0 "/>

You can see that various calendar views can be displayed on the toolbar above outlook, such as by day, by week, or by schedule.

Select "open calendar", "Address Book", and "user2.

650) This. width = 650; "Height =" 157 "Title =" clip_image017 "style =" margin: 0px; Border: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-Right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; Background-image: none; "alt =" clip_image017 "src =" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201408/13/762134_1407914361lojY.jpg "border =" 0 "/>

At this time, we found that the calendars of user1 and user2 are displayed in parallel.

650) This. width = 650; "Height =" 245 "Title =" clip_image019 "style =" margin: 0px; Border: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-Right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; Background-image: none; "alt =" clip_image019 "src =" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201408/13/762134_1407914363GveV.jpg "border =" 0 "/>

Click the left arrow to show the calendar overlapping. Click the right arrow to show the calendar in parallel.

650) This. width = 650; "Height =" 277 "Title =" clip_image021 "style =" margin: 0px; Border: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-Right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; Background-image: none; "alt =" clip_image021 "src =" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201408/13/762134_1407914364KyEx.jpg "border =" 0 "/>

Now we can see that user1 does not show the detailed reservation of user2. We double-click the reservation of user2 and request sharing.

650) This. width = 650; "Height =" 132 "Title =" clip_image022 "style =" margin: 0px; Border: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-Right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; Background-image: none; "alt =" clip_image022 "src =" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201408/13/762134_1407914368zkbv.png "border =" 0 "/>

Select the sharing permission to request details of the calendar from user2.

650) This. width = 650; "Height =" 279 "Title =" clip_image023 "style =" margin: 0px; Border: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-Right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; Background-image: none; "alt =" clip_image023 "src =" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201408/13/762134_1407914379G5vj.png "border =" 0 "/>

Now user2 has received the email request from user1. Click "allow" and select details to send the email.

650) This. width = 650; "Height =" 220 "Title =" clip_image025 "style =" margin: 0px; Border: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-Right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; Background-image: none; "alt =" clip_image025 "src =" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201408/13/762134_1407914382WMzZ.jpg "border =" 0 "/>

650) This. width = 650; "Height =" 226 "Title =" clip_image026 "style =" margin: 0px; Border: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-Right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; Background-image: none; "alt =" clip_image026 "src =" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201408/13/762134_1407914383vOSn.png "border =" 0 "/>

Now, in outlook of user1, you can view the details of user2 reservation.

650) This. width = 650; "Height =" 289 "Title =" clip_image028 "style =" margin: 0px; Border: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-Right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; Background-image: none; "alt =" clip_image028 "src =" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201408/13/762134_1407914384Au7A.jpg "border =" 0 "/>

3. For the administrator, it is obviously impossible for us to log on to the user's account to confirm or manage permissions, so we use powershell to manage the calendar.

To view your calendar permissions, run the following command:

Get-mailboxfolderpermission-identity user1: \ "calendar"

650) This. width = 650; "Height =" 202 "Title =" clip_image029 "style =" margin: 0px; Border: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-Right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; Background-image: none; "alt =" clip_image029 "src =" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201408/13/762134_14079143850KkE.png "border =" 0 "/>

We found that the permission to open detailed information is actually granted to the corresponding user reviewer.

Here, by the way, because user1 uses Chinese characters, the calendar folder name is "calendar ". If you do not enable the outlook language, the folder name is the default "calendar ". The name of the calendar folder is determined by the user's language.

You can use the following PS to confirm the name of your calendar folder.

Get-MailboxFolderStatistics -Identity user1 | where{$_.Foldertype -like "calendar"} | select FolderType,name

650) This. width = 650; "Height =" 64 "Title =" clip_image031 "style =" margin: 0px; Border: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-Right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; Background-image: none; "alt =" clip_image031 "src =" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201408/13/762134_1407914386zEoL.jpg "border =" 0 "/>

You can also choose whether to rename the folder in the OWA option.

650) This. width = 650; "Height =" 374 "Title =" clip_image033 "style =" margin: 0px; Border: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-Right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; Background-image: none; "alt =" clip_image033 "src =" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201408/13/762134_1407914388Po7G.jpg "border =" 0 "/>

If user1 allows you to view calendar details, you can use the following PS

Set-mailboxfolderpermission-identity user1: \ "calendar"-accessright reviewer-user default

650) This. width = 650; "Height =" 82 "Title =" clip_image035 "style =" margin: 0px; Border: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-Right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; Background-image: none; "alt =" clip_image035 "src =" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201408/13/762134_1407914389YU9G.jpg "border =" 0 "/>

Since all users have the reviewer permission, the separate permission settings for user2 are repeated. You can delete them using the following ps.

Remove-mailboxfolderpermission-identity user1: \ "calendar"-user user2

650) This. width = 650; "Height =" 146 "Title =" clip_image037 "style =" margin: 0px; Border: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-Right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; Background-image: none; "alt =" clip_image037 "src =" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201408/13/762134_1407914390ekjD.jpg "border =" 0 "/>

Run the following command to edit the user1 calendar of group1.

Set-mailboxfolderpermission-identity user1: \ "calendar"-accessright Editor-User Group

650) This. width = 650; "Height =" 93 "Title =" clip_image039 "style =" margin: 0px; Border: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-Right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; Background-image: none; "alt =" clip_image039 "src =" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201408/13/762134_14079143913qic.jpg "border =" 0 "/>

If you want to set the permission to View Details for all users, you can use the following PS

$ Allmailbox = Get-Mailbox-resultsize unlimited-filter {(recipienttypedetails-EQ 'usermailbox')} foreach ($ mailbox in $ allmailbox) {set-mailboxfolderpermission-Identity ($ mailbox. alias + ': \ calendar')-user default-accessrights reviewer}

650) This. width = 650; "Height =" 118 "Title =" clip_image041 "style =" margin: 0px; Border: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-Right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; Background-image: none; "alt =" clip_image041 "src =" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201408/13/762134_140791439341MP.jpg "border =" 0 "/>

Here is a warning, because we have set this permission for user1, so the permission has not changed.

There is another error. user3 does not find the corresponding folder. Check the name of the calendar folder of user3. As mentioned earlier, user3 is also the default name calendar ar.

650) This. width = 650; "Height =" 64 "Title =" clip_image043 "style =" border: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-Right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; background-image: none; "alt =" clip_image043 "src =" http://img1.51cto.com/attachment/201408/13/762134_1407914394ttSL.jpg "border =" 0 "/>
