In the previous post, "Installing, Deploying DPM 2010 Server," We went to work with you on how to complete the installation of DPM, posting today, mainly to chat with you about the DPM 2010 installation process, which ports we need to open, here, We use Group Policy to introduce how to open ports for DPM, and, of course, you can have the policy of opening ports for DPM servers and clients separately, and the server and the client ports that are monitored are open in the same way.
1) Right-click the OU that needs to add Group Policy, such as "Test_computers", and in the pop-up shortcut menu, select "Create a GPO in this domain and link here" as shown in the following figure;
2 in the New GPO page, enter "Dpm_port_enable" and click OK, as shown in the following figure;
3 Right click on the "Dpm_port_enable" policy, in the pop-up shortcut menu, select "Edit", as shown in the following figure;
4) Right-click the "Inbound rules" shown in the following figure and select "New rule";
