Distributed System
The fundamental starting point and purpose of the distributed system: the pursuit of multi-level cooperation and strong.
Compared with computer networks, distributed systems:
1. multi-machine cooperation: Automatic task allocation and coordination;
2. Strong: when one or more computers or networks in the system fail, the rest of the system can be automatically restructured into a new system, which can work, you can even continue to do some or all of the work of the invalid part, which is called a graceful degradation.
Distributed Operating System: It is responsible for the global operating system in an integrated distributed system. It is responsible for system-wide resource allocation and scheduling, task division, information transmission, control and coordination, and provides users with a unified interface and standard interface.
Its research mainly involves the following issues:
1. Distributed Operating System Model and hierarchy;
2. distributed resource management model, global resource allocation policy, andAlgorithm;
3. Distributed Resource Access Control;
4. Global Processor Allocation and server load balancing;
5. Process Communication Mechanism;
6. data security issues;
7. Consistency of distributed activities.
There is also a Distributed Name. System Fault Tolerance and troubleshooting.
