Order BY multiple conditions

Source: Internet
Author: User
The order clause sorts query results by one or more (up to 16) fields, either ascending (ASC) or Descending (DESC), and the default is ascending. The order clause is usually placed at the end of the SQL statement. Multiple fields are defined in the order clause, sorted by field.

Example: [SQL] view plain copy SELECT Productname, unitprice, unitinstock from the products order by Unitinstock DESC, Un Itprice DESC, ProductName if the order by is not a number, but varchar type, you need to cast or multiple conditions, as follows: [SQL] view plain copy order by CA St (M.process_card_code as int), CAST (n.procedure_no as int)
