When we use IE browser to print the Web page, it may appear because the page layout is too large to print the file correctly, there are incomplete printing, some of the content is missing.
This is because the design of the page itself is wider than the general A4 paper width, if the original pixel scale of the page printing, will result in some content beyond the printable range and be cut off. Please select one of the following two methods in accordance with your habits:
Method One: Modify the boundary setting of the print format
This method is more common, but some pages that are very wide may not work.
1, open IE Browser, open the page that needs to be printed. Then click "File" in the menu bar and select the "Page Setup" item as shown in the following image:
Note: If the IE menu bar is not found, you can press the ALT key on the keyboard in IE to display it.
2. In the Page Setup window, set the paper size to "a4", and then set the left and right margins to "5", and the top and bottom margins set to "10". Finally, click on the "OK" button. As shown in the following illustration:
Note: Each model printer has a minimum printable boundary, and the left and right edges must be set at the minimum printable boundary of your printer. If some pages are already too wide at design time, you can try to change the printing direction of the printer to a horizontal print, which will allow for a wider layout.
Method Two: Change the print size by "Print Preview"
1, open IE Browser, open the page that needs to be printed. Then click "File" in the menu bar and select "Print Preview", as shown in the following figure:
2, in the Print Preview window, select the "Shrink to paper Size" item, the printed page will automatically shrink to match the size of the print, as shown in the following figure:
Note: You can manually select the size of the scale, or you can choose to print horizontally to suit your printing needs.
