The lawsuit between Apple and Samsung regarding patent infringement finally settled upon Samsung's compensation of $1 billion from Apple, the decision followed Apple's application to ban the sale of Samsung's eight smartphones in the United States, which led to a 7.5% drop in Samsung's share price, with its market value shrinking by $12.3 billion. So what patents have Samsung infringed on Apple's iPhone? Let's take a look at the six items that the jury determines:

Patent No. 163: double-click the screen zoom-in document (double-click zoom-in or double-finger zoom)

When you open a document screen that is too small, you only need to double-click the screen to enlarge the document; or the document screen is too large, double-click the screen to make it smaller. Apple owns the patent, and the jury thinks 12 SamSung mobile phones have infringed the patent.

Patent No. 381: border rebound or cross-border Rolling

When we scroll up or down to the top or bottom of an app, it will have a physical feedback mechanism to reach the top or bottom, which enhances the experience of the entire process. This mechanism is now introduced to the web page browsing of its MAC computer. So we used the Apple patent when performing the scroll up and down operation. The jury held that 21 SamSung mobile phones infringed the patent.

Patent 915: differentiate between single-touch and multi-touch gestures. The most obvious example is zoom in and out.

With this patented technology, our mobile phone can identify whether you are a single-finger operation or a multi-finger operation. If we want to zoom in or out the screen before the technology is available, you can click the zoom-in or zoom-out button. The jury held that Samsung infringed Apple's patent on 21 mobile phones.

Design Patent No. 087: Decorative Design of the white iPhone

Apple applied for a patent on the basic design and appearance of its iPhone, which means that its Rectangular appearance and form patent belongs to Apple. Here, Samsung has 12 mobile phones infringing Apple's patents.

Design Patent No. 677: Black iPhone Decorative Design

In addition to white, Apple also applied for a patent for its black decorative design.

Design Patent No. 305: app rounded corner icon

People who have used the iPhone know that the four corners of the app are circular, which makes the app beautiful. In this patent, 13 SamSung mobile phones copied Apple's design patent
