Superstar reader + pdffacloud pro

Software Configuration solution 2:

For solution 1, you only need to install pdffacloud pro to directly print the PDG into a PDF file.
Note the following:
1. It is best to download the book to be printed, so that the speed is fast and the page number is also counted.
2. In the print settings, do not select the "print to file" option to speed up the response.
3. When printing, it is best to open the task manager and check the current working status. When printing normally, it will occupy a lot of resources. The SSReader process in the task manager is usually very high, if the SSReader process is down, but the PDF-to-PDF dialog box is not displayed after pdffactory pro is printed, it should be a problem with the download of a page of your book. You can open the printer window, check the page number.

Summary:
1. How is the page count counted?
One way is to view the number of pages currently read and the type of the page in the status bar of the reading window, and the total number of pages of this type. Superstar divides the pages of a book into six types: body page, directory page, cover page, title page, copyright page, and preface page. But not every book has these pages. Another method is to download the book, view the folder saved in the book in "Resource Manager", and sort it by "type, you only need to count the number of pages with the "pdf" extension.
2. How can I view the file extension?
Select "Folder Options" under the [tools] menu in resource manager, and select the "View" tab in the displayed Options dialog box, remove the check box before "hide a known folder extension" and click "OK.
3. Why is the quality of the books I printed low?
That's because in pdffacloud pro, files are saved in 90dpi pixels by default. You can change it to 300dpi. If it is too high, the printing process will be slow.

Solution 2 is not very recommended. It is only for friends who cannot use solution 1.
Install the provided software first. Open the super star and print it. Note that "print to file" is selected for printing ". Click print. In the displayed dialog box, enter the address and file name to save. Note that the extension is. PS. Finally, open the file with gsview.

The following describes in detail the printing steps of solution 1 (for beginners ):
First, based on your needs, whether to print only the Directory and content, or print all the books. If it is the former, you only need to select "specify start page" in the Print dialog box. Be sure to select "directory page" below ", the most important thing is to enter the number of pages to be printed in the input box after "number of pages to be printed" below. How to calculate the number of pages is described in the following notes. If you need to print a full book, you need to jump to the "cover page" in the reading window. If there is no "cover page", you are not afraid. The reader will automatically jump to the home page of this book, next, select "start from current page" in the Print dialog box, and enter the number of pages to be printed in the input box after "print pages. Page number = page number of the body + page number of the Directory + other pages (cover page + title page + copyright page + preface page ).
After entering the correct value in the Print dialog box, you can click "print". Next, select "Printer". Be sure to select "pdffactory pro ", click "print. During the printing process, you can open the printer dialog box to monitor the printing process and check whether the printing is interrupted. The reason for the interruption is generally that a page in the book is faulty and cannot be printed, after that, you need to calculate it. You can split this book and print the previous one before the previous one.
Finally, pdffacloud pro will automatically display a preview window at the end of the print. Under the preview window, there is a "save" button. Click this button to save the converted PDF file.
