Photoshop creates an epic landscape

Post-photo processing can be said to be the most interesting and creative step in the entire photographic process. Through post-processing, you can make a dull picture into a visually stunning blockbuster. In this PS translation tutorial, you will be presented with a detailed description of how to use Photoshop to make the background picture a highly contrast, detail-rich epic-style photograph. The theme of this PS translation course is to transform the already pretty landscape picture into an epic fantasy scene. From the above processing before and after the comparison can be seen, PS post-processing will be the scenery of the image of the scene to create a stunning visual impact of the picture. The sky and clouds in the material look very calm and serene, and the picture theme of "tranquillity" is very close. Here we are going to do special effects to create a strong contrast effect. Select the Pen tool from the PS toolbar, as shown in the following illustration, to set anchor points along the mountains.

When the anchor is set, pull the mountains out, paste them on the new layer, and set the background to black.

Download the sky footage from stormy clouds, then place the footage underneath the mountain layer and hide the grass in the footage, as shown in the following illustration.

Add a gradient layer to the sky layer, with the gradient color black to white, and set the gradient layer's blending mode to soft light, darkening the sky clouds and creating dark, dull citrus. The settings and effects are shown in the following illustration.

Select the Brush tool, set the low hardness, and then create a new layer, a few points in the position of the cloud gap. The effect is shown in the following illustration.

Change the layer's blending mode to overlay, so you can create a visual effect of the light penetrating the cloud. The opacity of the layer is then lowered to 70%, making the light effect softer. The settings and effects are shown in the following illustration.

Next adjust the brush for high hardness, set the size jitter, and then the following figure, adjust the brush diameter to draw the white dots below.

Select Filter > Blur > Dynamic Blur in the main menu and set the angle to 60° and distance 188 in the dynamic Blur settings interface. Turn the white dots into textured light. The effect is shown in the following illustration.

Set the blending mode of the light to soft light, so that the color of the light and the sky will appear mottled staggered, while reducing the opacity of the layer, so that the light more penetrating and softer. The effect is shown in the following illustration.

Contrasting the background color, the view in front of the mountain is a bit too dark. Here, create a new layer, choose a white soft brush, and then paint the front part of the mountain in white as shown in the following figure. The effect is shown in the following illustration.

Set the blending mode of the layer just to overlay, which will brighten up the foreground and make a strong contrast to the dark tones of the sky clouds. Download bird footage from flock of birds. Turn on the color level adjustment layer, with the eyedropper tool to adjust the color order as follows, the birds from the background color separation. The effect is shown in the following illustration.

Paste the birds into the main canvas, and then set the layer's blending mode to multiply, so that the bird pictures your background is transparent. Press Ctrl+t to adjust the size and position of the bird. The effect is shown in the following illustration.

Press CTRL + A to select all layers, and then press Ctrl+shift+c to merge and paste the image to the new layer. Select Filter > Other > High Contrast Retention in the main menu bar to adjust the radius to 1.5 pixels so the gray preview window courseware.
