Photoshop Cube Cube Tutorial

This Photoshop tutorial is designed to illustrate how to use images to get the right sense of space in the cube skin.

Here is the effect chart.

1. Open the picture, create a new layer, use the rectangular marquee tool to pull a 250*250px selection, fill in a different color, here fill in black.

2. Add each new layer to the additional two block area, covering the image as large as possible. Select one of the loading selections, select the background layer, and CTRL + C to copy the image.

3. Open Rubik's Cube picture, Ctrl + V paste image, named Skin 1.

4. Choose Skin 1, perform edit > Warp > Twist, and match the image shape to one side of the Rubik's Cube.

5. Return to the main canvas, perform the same operation, so that all sides of the Rubik's cube cover the skin.

6. Change the layer blending mode of each skin layer to multiply.

7. Finally, with the hardness of a slightly larger eraser tool will be the cube gap in the ambiguous skin to erase, it is done.
