Create a fashion illustration art that fades from line to color

In this tutorial, you will have some pictures you choose, and you will create a beautiful artwork job. The idea behind this is to create realistic illustrations and lines of art between the wars. I'm trying to make this a simple one, but at the same time make it look good. I hope you enjoy this tutorial and try to use your own tools and stock.

Final Image Preview

The art of this style reminds people of Jurryt Visser. It blends the art of the line and photography into a seamless whole.

Below is your image to be created in this tutorial. You can view the following final image preview or view a larger version here.

Video Tutorials

Our video Editor Gavens created this series of video tutorials to compliment this text + photo tutorial.

Step 1

First create a new document, which is 1100 pixels, with a resolution of 300 pixels per inch and 1500 pixel height wide. For this project, I will use a texture that I like very much. I want to thank the author of this textured Princess shadow for putting this together. Now, move to the texture of your document.

Step 2

The next step you need to select your image will be to use this design. I bought three beautiful pictures that you may be familiar with 1,2,3.

Let's start like 1 and use the Pen tool (P) you need to create a path around the dancer.

Step 3

Now you're done you need to set your brush size and hardness in 100% pixel paths. Next, create a new layer named "Contour1." Next, use the Pen tool (P) to right-click and select a stroke path, select a brush, and make sure that the simulation pressure is not selected. Also, you need to make a stroke black.

Step 4

Now you've created a stroke without deleting the path. Next you need to press COMMAND + ENTER to convert to a selected path, then you need to click the Add Layer Mask button. This will be hidden in the dancer's background. The last dancer and stroke layer are moved to the document.

Step 5

Select the "Countour1" layer, with the pen tool (P) you need to draw around the path of the dancers. You will need to take these paths along the shadow path or follow the cloth line and then stroke the 1px black brush. The result is the art of being called lines.

Step 6

Create the "Countour1" layer and name it "a new layer below the Color1." "Command, click on the" Dancer1 "layer of the selection, then you need to fill in the" Color1 "layer, this color # f7eedd. At the same time, you need to connect these layers, so if you move one, others will follow.

Step 7

You need to repeat the line art for each image in the file. Not only are they thrown in there, you may need to make a sketch of the first bit of each image right.

Step 8

If you follow the instructions so far you should be in this order layer.

Step 9

Now you have the art of the dancer behind some of the lines you need to cover up to make some sort of shift. Select a dancer layer mask, just with the brush tool (B) set to black, and draw the part you want to hide.

Step 10

Next, copy the dancers, they and move their size as you wish, but remember that you need to arrange them in a nice combination. In my example, you can see that I put six dancers. In addition, I also masked the original dancer only left the image and art lines visible. I do this because in the next step, we will bring the dance part back to the line of art.

Step 11

The first thing to do before you start giving some life to the art line is to choose the part you want to cover up.

Step 12

Next, use a splash brush. You can find some very useful brushes here: Deviantart orpsdtuts + user feed link. Used to brush the black and start to draw the mask and reveal some parts of the dancer. At the same time, to achieve a very good effect, reduce the opacity of the brush to 20%. It will be more interesting that you will create a gradual appearance of the effect.

Step 13

Repeat steps 11 and 12 for each dancer you create. At the same time, control your composition, if you do something that doesn't look right, don't be afraid to do it again and again until you are satisfied with the final result.

Step 14

So far you should have some close to what I have done, with a certain amount of exercise and a balanced combination.

Step 15

Next we will add some crow image to fill it a little more. I use these two kinds of images: 1 and 2.

Now that you have two images, take the same steps as you do with the other images. This means that you will need to cut interest rates, create two images of art lines, repeat many times and you feel it is necessary to make the fading effect use splash brushes.

Step 16

Now that you've completed the birds and the dancers, you can put them all in a different folder just to keep it clean.

Next time use another stock image sxc. Cut and repeat this feather many times, you feel it is necessary because you will use it to add some more graphic elements. As you can see, I didn't put too much, just enough to give an illustration of the extra movement of the feeling.

Step 17

Next, create a new folder on all layers and name it "bounds." "Meanwhile, create a new layer to this folder and Brush tool (B) and use the same color as my settings, you use the line art # F8efde.

Now, you will draw your brush and start drawing a few laps around the working space. Be careful not to overstay them.

Step 18

Create a new layer, in the circle you just created, and then command to click on the circle layer to make a choice. Next, you need to create a new layer, use the Lasso tool (L), right-click, and select Stroke. The radius is set to 1px, the color is black, and you also make sure that you set it as center.

You can repeat this step and make a more transparent circle. This is for you.

Step 19

Next, we will create a new layer, and then draw a circle, but this time using different settings and different colors # 8bb687.

Step 20

Repeat step 19, but this time, use a different color and in the opposite direction # 99a3b4 the bounds.

Step 21

Finally, set the two-layer color depth from step 18 and step 19.

Conclusion

Finally you can add your logo if you want to add more points and you can do it. You can view the following final image or view a larger version here.
