The Edit menu
Some commands in the Edit menu are primarily editing files, such as copying, pasting, padding, strokes, and so on. The Edit menu is one of the most commonly used menus in Photoshop software operations.
1. "Restore" command
This command is used to restore the operation, its shortcut key is ctrl+z, then it can only restore once, if you want to restore as many steps as possible, then you can press the Ctrl+alt+z key.
2. "Cut" command
When there is a marquee in the screen, this command will be able to cut the selection of the screen in the box, the following we through an exercise to explain.
One: Open the picture and select a selection using the selection tool (M).
Second: Select Edit > Cut (ctrl+x) so that the parts of the marquee are cut off, as shown below.
Select Edit > Paste (Ctrl + V) to paste the cut part into the screen.
3. "Copy" and "Paste" command
These two commands are basically combined to use, after making a marquee in the screen, select the Edit > copy (Ctrl + C) command to copy and then select Edit > Paste (Ctrl + V) to paste the copied parts into the screen. Unlike the previous cut command, the cut picture is not part of the marquee, and the original picture is complete when you use the copy and Paste commands. So we should pay attention to the difference between the two.
